About the Role

This is a learning-first opportunity to work on a real-life MVP product soon to be in the market. You'll contribute to our commerce enablement backend — the same systems powering merchants, orders, and WhatsApp commerce. The main motto: learn by building.

What You'll Work On

• Node.js / Express REST APIs for merchants, orders, products
• MongoDB data models and Mongoose schemas
• WhatsApp Business API integration (conversational commerce)
• Payment flows (Razorpay), webhooks, and real-time features (Socket.io)
• Background jobs with BullMQ and Redis
• Auth, validation, and API security

Required Skills

• JavaScript / Node.js fundamentals
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Git basics
• Eagerness to learn and ship code

Nice to Have

• Experience with Express or similar frameworks
• MongoDB / Mongoose
• Redis, queues, or background jobs
• Webhooks or third-party API integrations
